ABOUT PRFT
The Vet-Sonotron, a non-invasive device developed and manufactured by ADM Tronics, uses pulsed radio frequency therapy (PRFT). The device emits long wave rf frequency in combination with audio frequency. The device consists of a handheld applicator connected to a base unit. The device produces a 15-second output, termed a Treatment Unit or TU. The number of TUs applied depends on the area being treated, from a minimum of 3 TUs (45 seconds) to as many as 12 TUs (3 minutes) or more, during a treatment sessions applied daily or every other day or so. Users have reported relief of pain, increased range of motion and other beneficial effects ranging from 4 to 6 months after a series of 3 to 5 treatment sessions. In thousands of treatments on a wide variety of conditions and injuries, no adverse effects have been reported.
